Does Your Faith Actually Work? | James 5

What does a faith that actually works look like?

As we finish our journey through James, chapter 5 brings the message of the entire letter into focus. Genuine faith changes the way we live.

In this message, we look at how faith shapes our priorities, our patience, and our prayers. How should we view money and possessions? How do we trust God when the struggle lasts longer than we hoped? What do we do when we’re suffering, weary, or watching someone we love wander from the truth?

James calls believers to “long patience.” We wait with expectant hope, establish our hearts in God, pray through suffering, and help restore those who have wandered.

And we don’t do it alone.

The church should be a people who care for one another, pray for one another, notice when someone is missing, and help one another continue walking faithfully with Christ.

“We need to be the church that is ready to do what God’s called us to do.”
