Brother Dennis has served as pastor of Needham Road Baptist/The Church at 242, since November, 1996. Brother Dennis has served in several churches in Texas and New Mexico . His ministry here has seen the church grow from a total of 8 his first morning to what it has become today. Pastor Dennis has served as the Moderator of the South Texas Baptist Association, and serves the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention as a member of the Credentials Committee. Brother Dennis also serves as a member of the Executive Committee for the East Texas Baptist Family Ministries. Brother Dennis holds a Bachelor of Arts in Bible and a Master’s Degree in Christian Counseling Psychology. He and his wife of 37 years, Karen, have two grown children and 8 grandkids. Brother Dennis is presently working on his Doctor of Ministry Degree. |

In 2001 Joe Fernandez came to serve on staff at Needham Road Baptist/ The Church at 242, in the position of Student Minister. He and his wife Kerri have a passion and heart for students. Joe brings a love for Christ and for students to this work and the students love him. Joe and Kerri have a two sons, Ryan and Luke. |
